Hi Themba Day Tours and Safaris,
I called this morning to organise a half day tour to Soweto, which you so kindly managed to organise for us on very short notice.
I just wanted to say thank you and especially to our guide Leonard. He was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very well informed. He was very professional and our guests could understand everything he said in a way that was easy to understand. He made our experience wonderful! We were so impressed with him and would certainly recommend him and your company to every oversees guest we have in the future.”

Good day
I just want to say THANK you very much, we enjoyed our trip on Saturday and it really was an eye-opener. The driver was patiently waiting for us by 07:00 already. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very professional.
We will defiantly recommend other organizations and personal friends to use your services.
Keep up the good work.

Soweto half day tour (08th December 2010)
Leonard was a great tour guide - he was very approachable and came back to us with answers – awesome! And had great insight to politics, people and the events during this period of South African history.
The tour is a must for any South African or lover of history, as there is a lot of misperceptions around these events and the people involved. Being at the sites, hearing the stories and seeing the visuals created at the various sites makes you feel how real it was. Enjoying a traditional meal in a township had everyone buzzing with excitement. The friendly and knowledgeable guide made it interesting and well worth it.

Half Day Soweto tour (26th October 2010)
Hello,
I am writing to express my thanks for a great half day tour my family took with your company to Soweto. In particular, I would really like to compliment our guide/ driver Justice whom was very attentive and knowledgeable of the area- please pass on my grateful thanks to him for a job well done.
My family have travelled over from England for a holiday and wanted to experience as much of S African life, culture and history as possible during their stay. They found the day very informative and fascinating to be able to meet and talk with some of the poorest residents as well as experience and visit the more traditional attractions- museums, church and Freedom Square.
Best regards

The person who went on the tour was Linda Tippett who has returned overseas, but I confirm that from her comments she found the tour to be most informative and interesting and was complimentary to both the tour guide and the driver. As far as the Apartheid museum is concerned she mentioned that a repeat visit would be necessary in order to fully appreciate the extent of the information etc. available.

It was such an adventure for my mom, my daughter and myself. It made me to appreciate where we’ve been as a country and the sacrifices that other people have to take to ensure that we get the democratic country.__ My mom has seen the heritage sites on TV and it was such an experience for her. My daughter is studying about the whole experience at school and she has just finished her school project. Now to be there and see all the history was phenomenal. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and the time keeping was superb.

Soweto tour (01 October 2010)
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Nik on the 4-day Wildlife safari; he is a great guide with a wealth of knowledge and was a very pleasant companion. We also greatly valued Leonard’s guidance on the half-day Soweto tour. We learned so much from both their professional explanations and knowledge and as a result came away much better informed and very positive about South Africa and its people. We also appreciated the friendly help at Waybury House from Brenda and the team. Thank you all for making our few days really memorable.

Soweto tour (14 September 2010)
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
Now we are back from South Africa. I only want to tell you that the Soweto half day tour was very interesting. Justice was a very carefully driver and Celestine a very good guide who had given us a lot of information. Both Justice and Celestin did a very good job. We were very surprised to have the opportunity to drink a beer in a shebeen. I have to say that they were on time at the guesthouse to collect us with a very clean and new minibus. Many thanks to Justice and Celestine and Dirk for planning this tour.
With best regards,
Holzgreve

General Review (May 2010)
Hi!
The soccer city tour was excellent – we enjoyed every bit of it – the rain did not take our joy away.
We had fun.
The drive through Soweto was an eye opener for those who had never been there before and our Tour guide did an excellent job talking us through the various areas.
The Food at Wandie’s was definitely to live for, nice and homely, perfect for yesterdays weather
The feedback I got from our staff is that the day was different and yet extremely enjoyable.
Thank you for all your assistance.
Regards

Soweto and Wandies Tour (November 2009)
Dears Sirs,
We stayed in South Africa last week and we booked for Soweto Tour on tuesday 10th with Mr SIPPO as guide
and Diamond Mine on wednesday 11th with Mr CELESTIN.
Let us tell how enchanted we are with it. The schedule was perfectly respected, the cars were clean and the two guides
friendly, helpfull and full of knowledge. We always feel safe with them. We spent two interesting days in Pretoria
and Johannesburg, seeing things we couldn't see alone.
All this is highly professionnal.
Thank you.

Soweto and Wandies Tour (October 2009)
We had a wonderful day in Johannesburg and SOWETO. Very exciting and informative. We had a very pleasant driver, Robert. We felt very comfortable and safe.
Having had a desire to see Soweto for 20 years, makes it so surreal to finally be there. And I loved it. It gave me the chills to see Orlando West Highschool, and the Hector Pieterson Memorial. I was deeply touched.
This was our family's first trip to South Africa. We'll be back in 2012!
Thank you so much.

General Review (August 2009)
Wow! What a brilliant experience! Simon is an outstanding host and guide. I learned so much on my Soweto tour and share the experience with friends at home. I was also able to tour the Elephant Sanctuary and Lion Park at short notice. The tour was memorable and remarkable - both for myself as well as my Malawian friend. I will continue to highly recommend this company to friends and family. Thanks so much!

It had been an interesting, educational tour. It was really worth while doing this trip.
One thing i would like you to know, the guide who accompanied us was a very very good one. He is well informed about everything and he has got the gift/talent to share this with the tourists. Also for people like Ron and myself who using English as a second language.
Please pass this message to him and his colleagues and probably chief as well.
Thanks for this unforgettable tour.
With kind regards, met vriendelijke groet,

Soweto, Apartheid Museum & Drive Through Jo`burg (January 2009)
In late January this year, I had the wonderful opportunity to tour Soweto with Themba Day Tours with my family. It was clear from the commencement of our tour that our designated guide, Sipho, was exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the subject of interest, and had superb experience in terms of hospitality. Unfortunately during the course of the day, a member of the tour closed a car door on Sipho's finger and severely damaged it. Despite this interuption, Sipho continued to provide wonderful service and dealt with a seemingly irritating customer (that was accompanying my family) in a highly professional manner. My family and I would like to commend Sipho of his service, and express hopes of a quick recovery from the injury.

Just a short note to thank your company for the above tour we made whilst in South Africa. In particular we would like to thank Simon our driver/guide. He made our trip most enjoyable. His driving was most expert and safe and his knowledge of your country quite broad.
I hope you give him our best wishes (if he can remember us!!) and that he is regarded as highly in your company as we regarded him.
Many thanks
Yours faithfully

We thought the tour was very interesting and informative. As we only had a short stay in Johannesburg it was a great way to get an oversight of both Johannesburg and Soweto. The historical content was excellent & great insight into the culture of South Africa.
Thank very much
